Stephanie Fozard, O.D.
Stephanie Fozard (formerly Stephanie Dunsmore) was born and raised in Clearfield, Pennsylvania. She completed her undergraduate education at Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania and her doctorate in optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she received clinical honors in primary care. Professionally, she is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Pennsylvania Optometric Association as well as the local optometric society.
Dr. Fozard worked for a private optometry practice in Altoona before establishing her Philipsburg office in 1997 and founding Central Penn Vision Associates, P.C. (CPV) in 2001. In 2004, CPV expanded into Tyrone and hired the first OD associate (Dr. Trego) in 2005. 2006 brought about additional expansion with the purchase of a practice in State College.
Dr. Fozard enjoys seeing patients of all ages and various ocular needs. She currently resides in State College with her husband, Scott, and their two children, Abigail and Carter.
Danielle Trego, O.D.
Dr. Danielle Trego (formerly Danielle Faretta) was born and raised in Altoona, Pennsylvania. She completed her undergraduate studies at Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania and received her doctorate in optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She graduated with clinical honors in low vision studies and was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Her ocular disease externships were completed at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, the Veterans Administration Hospital in Elsmere, Delaware, and at Laurel Eye Clinic in Altoona.
Before joining Central Penn Vision Associates in August of 2005, Dr. Trego worked for a large private practice in Delaware. Dr. Trego is interested in all areas of optometric care from contacts to diagnoses and management of ocular disease. She currently resides in State College with her husband, Matt.
